Fatigue, illness and my health, in my own words, 2015 to 2026
This page is a dated record of what I wrote about my energy, my health and my body, from my Facebook records, my text messages and my own published records. I am not a doctor and I am not making medical claims here. These are the words I wrote at the time, about how I felt and what I believed was causing it.
Starting in 2015 I was writing about being fatigued all the time. By 2016 I was telling friends it began not long after my first son was born. In 2018 I wrote that I got chronic fatigue syndrome shortly after getting married, from intense unending stress, and I described days when my legs went out while I was caring for my sons. On January 29, 2019 I saw a doctor for extreme chronic fatigue. In June 2019 I texted my ex-husband that his neglect created feelings of depression and chronic fatigue, and that he told me I was faking it. In 2020 I told a friend I felt trapped in a marriage with someone who was abusive, and that the fatigue set in after I got pregnant. In 2021 I wrote that I developed chronic fatigue and completely shut down. In October 2021 I wrote that after he flipped out on me I couldn't even function. In January 2022 I texted him about sharp chest pain for days, and that the doctor said my EKG was likely stress induced. In May and June 2022 I wrote that I developed autoimmune issues and chronic fatigue because of his abuse. After the June 8, 2022 temporary full custody order, I wrote about panic attacks, a migraine from the stress of court filings, being exhausted with no fight left, and psychogenic seizures from extreme stress, beginning weeks after the June 8, 2022 order took my sons.
Quotes are word for word from my Facebook account history, my text messages, or my own pages on this site where marked. I removed names and used [brackets] where I replaced a word. An ellipsis (…) marks words I left out. Times are Eastern Time (ET).
My first son was born before these records start. These are the earliest things I wrote about being exhausted.
